Just another advice from a fellar, you don’t have to write perfect, or even coherently when you journal. It’s yours and you can do what you want with it. Also the type of journal can also matter even though you can use whatever, I’d recommend using journals you LIKE along with pens you prefer.

Sometimes I read people’s sites in journal and think „damn, pretty normal things they write about“ and then I look what I write about in my journal: trauma, depressive stressful thoughts, questions about the world, excitement to 100 points about things that happened, the things I saw and find pretty.
